Occasionally we are asked why we plate our items in Rhodium instead of Silver. Rhodium is a precious metal and is more expensive than silver. It does not tarnish or require polishing like silver. Silver jewellery itself is often plated with Rhodium to prevent tarnishing. Rhodium is also more lustrous and shiny than silver.
